MÜLLERNKONTOR is a young label for furniture and home accessories with charming gestures and great stories.
Maren Schmitz and Lüder Springhorn are enthusiastically dedicated to developing and rethinking products on a historic farm in the Lüneburg Heath.
The duo met while studying design in Münster and decided to start their own company in 2013.
Their designs combine new manufacturing techniques with traditional craftsmanship, incorporating the knowledge they gained from their training as metalworkers and carpenters into their ideas. Their products are manufactured in collaboration with social workshops and regional craft businesses in northern Germany.
In December 2014, Müllernkontor opened its extraordinary showroom with studio and office in a former stable building in the middle of Müden an der Örtze. Regionality is important to them: challenging and promoting the local area is an important task for them.
Müllernkontor stands for fair products from the Lüneburg Heath, which are produced from high-quality materials in Northern Germany.
