Embassy was founded by Katarzyna and Nicholas, a Polish architect and an English antiques dealer. One fascinated by the purity of modernist thought and the other by the emotions of history. Embassy is a marriage of these two worlds, modern and vintage.

The modernist design philosophy is clearly visible in Embassy's aesthetics. A choice for balance and integrity, a focus on timeless classicism over the eternal chase of the latest trends.

The cornerstone of Embassy is the famous Polish glass, a craft that dates back centuries. Each shade is a unique piece of hand-blown glassmaking. This original technique imparts a patina and depth unmatched by modern glass-making production lines. Solid brass is used for most of our lamps. It has a durability, integrity and depth of color that highlights and complements the subtle asceticism of hand-blown glass.

The combination of modern geometry, traditional production methods and the simplicity of the finest raw materials has become a trademark of the Embassy brand.

How did you feel when you held your product in your hands for the first time?

Proud and moved. Impatient to tell the world the inspiration behind its design and the behind-the-scenes stories of its creation.

Have you ever received a design award? If so, which one and for which product?

We have just received the information about the "must have 2021" award for the BIBE lamp series during the Lodz Design Festival in Poland.

What is your favorite object and accompanies you every day?

A regular sketch pencil.
